Norwegian cancels reservations for some customers on Pride of America

Last month we reported that Norwegian Cruise Line pride of america was experiencing operational issues with crew staffing. In turn, the ship limited occupancy.

Now the line is canceling guests who were already booked on the sail. A Cruise Radio listener emailed us and told us the line had canceled its July sailing, and in turn offered a full refund, 100% future cruise credit, and up to $500 off airline change fees.

Norwegian is not alone in having staffing issues, as all major cruise lines around the world have VISA entry issues for their crew members.

MSC Cruises completes full restart of its fleet

Another cruise line is fully back in service.

MSC Cruises’ last ship has resumed service, as MSC Music set sail on Sunday in the Mediterranean.

Here in the United States, MSC has ships sailing from two Florida ports, PortMiami and Port Canaveral. In December, another MSC ship will join North America, as the company also adds sailings from New York.

last November, MSC Seashore debuted as Miami’s newest ship.

Music was the 19th and final MSC cruise ship to return since the pandemic.

Cunard’s queen victoria Has returned from service

Cunard’s queen victoria resumed service on Sunday in Southampton, England. The ship sails for 14 nights across Europe.

queen victoria is Cunard’s second modern new build, after Queen Mary 2.

The ship was recently outfitted with 43 new cabins, penthouse suites and a new restaurant.
