GATE 2022 admission card: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) admission card has been released. Students who will appear in the GATE 2022 can download the hall ticket from the official website- gate.iitkgp.ac.in. They need to insert their registration credentials or email IDs and passwords.

The 2022 GATE exams will take place from February 5 to 13 – February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022. February 4 and 11 have been reserved for various activities, including the selection of scribes (if applicable), the preparation of the center of examination, including disinfection and other activities (displaying posters, signboard, seating arrangements, etc.) and visiting candidates to check the examination center which is optional.
The GATE 2022 document will be of an objective type comprising three question models – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Selection Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Response Questions (NATs). For each wrong answer scored in a MCQ, the negative marks will be removed, while for MSQs and NATs there will be no negative mark for a wrong answer.
Two new subjects were introduced this year for applicants – GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering), bringing the total number of GATE papers to 29. The Recruitment and Post-Graduation Engineering Admission Test will be held on aerospace engineering, instrumentation engineering, agricultural engineering, mathematics, architecture and planning (new model), mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, mining engineering, biotechnology, engineering metallurgical, civil engineering, naval architecture and marine engineering (new paper), engineering chemistry, petroleum engineering, computer science and information technology, physics, chemistry, production and industrial engineering, electronics and communications engineering, statistics , Electrical Engineering, Textile Engineering and Fiber Science, Environmental Science and Engineering, Engineering Science, Ecology and Evolution, Humanities and Social Sciences, Geomatics Engineering (New Paper), life sciences, geology and geophysics.
GATE, organized for admission to master’s programs and for recruitment in certain public sector companies, takes place in the form of an online computer-based test. Meanwhile, candidates are asking for the postponement of the GATE exam. The candidates took to Twitter to raise the issues amid the Covid surge.
