DOOR 2022: The application process for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Kharagpur) Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) has been extended. The online application window will remain open until Thursday, September 30, interested candidates can apply on the official website- “The application deadline has been extended until September 30, 2021 (Thursday) at no additional cost,” the statement said.

The deadline to make changes to the application is November 1, while the deadline to change exam papers, categories or cities is November 12 with additional fees.

The computer-based test (CBT) will take place on February 5, 6, 12 and 13 during the morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the afternoon session will run from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The GATE admission card will be available for download on January 3.

  5. Fill in the request form
  6. Upload photos and all relevant documents
  7. Pay the administrative fees

GATE 2022 registration: Paper pattern

GATE will have 29 articles this year, with two new articles introduced – Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Geomatics Engineering. The GATE paper contains two sections, candidates must answer 65 questions within three hours. The questions covered general aptitude (15 points), engineering mathematics (10-13 points) and the basic engineering field.

GATE 2022 registration: selection of the examination center

Applicants wishing to take multiple exams will also need to complete a single GATE 2022 application form. Applicants will be given three options to choose the city that will appear for GATE 2021. Applicants should note that all three choices must be from the same one. GATE 2022 zone. The result of the GATE 2022 exam will be reported on March 17, 2022.
