Richard A. Seaman, a resident of Chester for 47 years, died at his home at the age of 78 on August 17, 2021, after a fierce battle with amyloid cardiomyopathy. Rick was born in the Bronx, NY, and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, Brooklyn, before serving in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He retired from Lee Company, Westbrook, CT. Rick was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph’s Church in Chester. He went to his first New York Yankees baseball game at the age of 6 and has been a lifelong fan. Rick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Anne, his son Sean (Lori) and his grandchildren Thomas, Tess, Matthew and Frannie. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and orderlies of the Middlesex Health Hospice Program. A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester, CT.
