Shirley M. Sailor | obituary

Shirley M. Seaman, 77, of Liverpool, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Shirley was born September 3, 1945 in Port Trevorton, the daughter of the late Arley W. and Sarah C. (Hile) Yetter. On November 19, 1966, she married Cletus H. “Pap” Seaman, who predeceased her on December 24, 2007. They shared over 41 years of marriage.
Shirley has worked at Eileen Hope Dress Factory in Duncannon and Middleburg Yarn in Selinsgrove. She enjoyed canning and gardening. Her particular pleasure in life was caring for her family. His motto was “Live today, not for tomorrow”.
She is survived by her sons, Wilbert Seaman, Edward Seaman and his wife Angie, and Wayne Seaman; grandchildren, David Snyder Jr. and his wife Britt, Oliviann Snyder and his partner Tyrell Brown, and Casey Seaman and his wife Katie; great-grandchildren, Chloe Snyder, Kensley Snyder, Elleri Seaman, Anna Strawser, Janya Davis and Raelynn Bowersox; sister, Donna Martin and her husband Larry, and two half-sisters Grace Hile and Judy Vernon and her husband Frank.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents, husband and many family members.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853 with Pastor Roger Womer officiating.
Interment will follow immediately at Aline Cemetery.
